He is the co-author of the acclaimed book The New Economics of Sovereign Wealth Funds published by Wiley Finance. He is in the process of finalizing the second edition. In his thirty years-long international career, Max has been Head of Public Policy for UBS in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Senior Economist for Emerging Markets at UBS and consultant advising governments and corporates in emerging markets on behalf of international institutions Max holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome where he lectured and a Msc in Economics from the University of London. He is the co-Chairman of the Asset Management Investment Council (AMIC) at the International Capital Market Association.
